Fable 2’s newest DLC called “See the Future” is now available on Xbox LIVE for only 560 MS Points ($7). I have seriously been playing it all day today and I am absolutely loving it. It is well worth the $7; hell, I would have gladly paid $10 for what I got. Go download it, you will be very glad you did.
From the description:
Strange new quests, new dog breeds and a vision of your future await you in this premium download. Murgo, trader of highly unusual and magical items, has returned to Bowerstone, and he has brought with him objects that will transport you to worlds and quests no Hero has ever faced before. Bring colour back to the world, dress up in creature costumes, compete in a new combat arena and find out what awaits you in Albion’s distant future.

It’s that time again, where Major Nelson posts the weekly outcome of activity on Xbox LIVE. Can you guess which game was played on LIVE the most?! If you said Halo 3, you get a cookie. Apparently, those Halo boys don’t know that there are other excellent games out there to play.

In a recent interview with ABC, Jerry Bruckheimer (producer) talk about the new upcoming Prince of Persia movie and brings along some footage of the movie. Sadly, the movie is nothing like the game and that was made apparent when Bruckheimer explained the movies storyline. “Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal)is our hero. He’s a street urchin who gets taken in by the king because of his valor, and he says, ‘I want this young man as part of my family.’ He’s already got two sons, but he doesn’t want them fighting over the crown.”
I don’t hold much hope in this being a good film by any means. The fact that the producer did the Pirates of the Caribbean films actually hurts his credibility in my opinion and when people remind me of who he is I have to remind him that he is only the producer on the Prince of Persia film. Even if it turns out to be a great film, it will be another loss in the gaming world because this film seems to have nothing to do with the games other than the shared title.
Prince of Persia will be in theaters May 28, 2010.
I did an interview with the guys over at GamersDigArt.com and it was a lot of fun. They asked some great questions and some questions that I had not heard before, so please check it out!
Woohoo! New shoes for our Xbox LIVE avatars. I think the good people at Microsoft are already running out of cute outfit ideas for our avatars, so in pure desperation they just threw up some new shoes to keep us quiet.
Starting this Thursday (May 14th) for a week only, PS3 Home users will be able to download a new living space called “Chamber Apartment”. This new apartment will not be your normal suite like the other two that are available, it will be have fantasy-based themeing which includes a huge tree in the middle with a face on it. Weird, yes - but totally awesome!
