About GamerBabe
My name is Raychul Moore and I have been gaming since I was old enough to hold a controller; my first game was Pitfall on the Atari 2600 and the rest was history. I have been active in the gaming community for years, appearing in numerous different gaming magazines and contributing to several different gaming websites. I am also part of Sony’s Gamer Advisory Panel which includes beta testing games and completing surveys on multiplayer options, game characters and game content. I am also the lead writer and site manager for GameGirl.com and I do a lot of the mobile gaming coverage for GamePro magazine. The industry is where I have made my home.
I still own most of my classic game systems and I am still gaming hardcore. I mostly play Action/Adventure games (God of War, GTA, Prince of Persia, Uncharted) and Survival Horror (Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Fatal Frame). I also love Racing (Midnight Club, Burnout), Shooters (Time Splitters, BioShock, Gears of War), and a few RPG’s (Champions of Norrath, Phantasy Star Online, Fable). I love to play online, b/c I have the most fun playing with my friends.
My other hobbies include my love for horror movies, from campy-slasher films to edgy-gore-fests to zombie massacres. I have also been working on an independent modeling career that has helped me achieve a lot of my personal goals.
One of the main things I look for in a guy is whether he is a gamer or not—gaming is a big thing in my life, and I like a guy who can keep up with me, or even beat me in some games. Video games are the only thing in society that is oblivious to the sex of the player—it’s all about skill and determination. They allow girls and guys to finally join forces on a whole new level; we are the ones beating you at Halo 2 or your best friend on World of Warcraft. Gaming has come a long way and so have us gamers…we aren’t the stereotypical nerds with the taped glasses anymore; we are that cute guy who works at the supermarket and that hot girl next door. Today’s gamers are young and old, rich and poor, but the one thing that brings us all together like nothing else in history is video games. The gaming industry is where I have made my home.
Turn ons: Guys with a geeky streak, guys who enjoying gaming just as much as I do, a good sense of humor, an open mind, and Storm Troopers.
Turn offs: Guys who try to woo you by playing a guitar while on a date, guys who work out a lot and have big muscles, guys who take longer to get ready than I do, politically correct people, and cockiness.
I am that hardcore gamerbabe who is at times more naughty than nice.

Games are making people lazy and unproductive. All you people, stop wasting your time in front of the TV shooting the cr@p out of fictitious characters and do something useful in your life.
Cheers!

FINALLY!!! Another gamer girl who can talk the smack and not just hold the controller, giggling, “hee hee I don’t know how to do this! heeee” *smacks her* We hardcore gamer girls are hard to find, glad I happened upon your site one day. Go get ‘em!!

Thanks!! You really just made my day!
I am right there with you, tired of gamer girls who when you ask them what their favorite game is they giggle and say “Tetris”. I love Tetris and all, but how can someone really say that when there are games like BioShock and Gears of War out there and still expect me to think they know what they are talking about?!
Thanks again for the support!

Glad to make your day! (And I can tell Miss Raychul has quite the following!) Might I add to your list of things that drive you crazy…how about people that don’t put the game in a case at all?! Aaargh!!

I hate that and i see that all the time.
They will pull it out and just slap it down on the TV stand and just leave it there. I had a friend do that at my place and I was like “Oh hell no” i did not spend $50-60 to have it get all dusty and scratched especially after I saw my his disc and it was covered in dust and all scratched to hell and he was like eh the game sucks anyway.
CrAsH 04.13.09 at 1:39 pm
I’m with you there. I just about flipped out when I walked into a kid’s room and saw CLASSIC NINTENDO GAMES on the floor! Covered in dust! And other unknown sticky substances!! x_X ack I quietly picked them up and put them away…and left the room, quietly cursing.

Raychul,
Don’t see any other feedback mechanism, so I figured this post might be “less out of place” here than elsewhere. Just got the May issue of “Play” magazine last night (Brütal Legend on cover) and saw a game that made me think of you. Check out “The Path” for PC when you get a chance. Looks cool…

Thanks txGreg…I definitely will now that you recommended it!
