We have seen the cute Street Fighter costumes for LittleBigPlanet and we are all excited for Resident Evil on March 13th; well now both these games will be bringing some flavor to the PS3’s Home. Joystiq announced that before Street Fighter 4 hits the market, Home users will be receiving an update that will allow players to jump from Home right into the game for some “Xbox Live Party-like action”. Also, expect some new Street Fighter clothes to pop up available for download from the mall as well.
Resident Evil fans will be receiving a whole new hangout spot in Home that closely resembles the starting level in upcoming game. It is also said that in this new RE 5 space, gamers will be able to participate in RE5 themed events. Not quite sure what that means, hopefully not lame concept art and such like in Uncharted bar.
You will definitely see me checking out the Resident Evil 5 hangout once that become available.
